Thermography can often detect changes in breast tissue before a tumour forms, and reveals hormonal influences that can contribute to cancer development or recurrence.
The temperature variance detectable by thermography can provide valuable information for early intervention using non-invasive strategies.
Thermography is a non-invasive, non-contact method that measures heat emissions from the body showing changes before other structural tests. We are all born with a heat image likened to a thumbprint, which should be symmetrical and should not change. However, most illnesses or diseases will present themselves with some form of inflammation and asymmetry.
Utilizing a high-speed thermal imaging camera, the heat from the body is processed and recorded into an image map via specialized software, which measures the temperature variation of the asymmetrical heat image to an accuracy of 0.1 ° C. This is then analysed by a certified thermographic physician who will create a report that your medical practitioner can then use for further evaluation.
Thermographic uses:
Earliest breast cancer screening, arthritis, muscle & joint pain, dental, TMJ, dermatology, diabetes, sports injuries, accidents, unexplained pain, inflammatory disease, referred pain, carpel tunnel syndrome, nerve damage, vascular & circulatory problems, thyroid, carotid artery & veterinarian use.
It is important to note that there has been a 30% increase in breast cancer in women under 40, who have not undergone any form of screening yet. Thermography is recommended for all women from the age of 20. Thermography is FDA approved as an adjunct to mammography.
